Ms. Jessica Claffey
AHS Librarian
A former English teacher at Aledo High School, I am excited about starting my fourth year in the high school library and my 21st year as an Aledo Bearcat! I love teaching students, and this year I have the dual role of librarian and teacher with an RLA section 8th period.
I believe the library is a special place to connect students and faculty with the resources they need to expand their learning beyond the classroom. The library offers opportunities for student-driven learning with a vast book collection to appeal to all readers, exceptional databases to aid in research and inquiry learning, and a library Makerspace that allows students time to design and create. Stop by for a visit! I look forward to seeing you soon!

About the Library: AHS Library strives to provide students with opportunities to read, learn, engage, collaborate, create, and extend knowledge beyond the boundaries of the traditional classroom. Students can explore the library catalog at their fingertips from this webpage or from Aledo Launchpad. Aledo High School library also offers research assistance, space for collaboration, and a Makerspace.
