Aledo High School Anglers' Club
The Aledo High School Anglers’ Club is a high school fishing team associated with the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA). Our team competes against approximately 39 other high school teams in our division (West Division). We compete for scholarship awards, prizes, and for the Team of the Year trophy that is awarded at the end of the regular season. Aledo Anglers’ Club Team consistently places in the top 5 in our division with several teams qualifying for regional and state tournaments each season.
Purpose: To stimulate public awareness of bass fishing as a major sport. To promote full adherence to all conservation codes and water safety standards. To improve our skill as bass anglers through a competitive exchange. To promote and encourage youth fishing and appreciation for the sport. To function as a dynamic and effective link with other clubs through high school tournaments
Membership Requirements:
- Voluntarily express a genuine interest in membership
- Enrolled in Aledo High School (Grades 9-12)
- Be a member of the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA)
- Be a full-time student maintaining a GPA in accordance with Aledo ISD policy and UIL guidelines
- Regular Club Meetings attendance (minimum 50% attendance required)
- Represent our school, team/club, and THSBA well
- A boat or access to a boat that meets THSBA requirements
Membership: Join Aledo Anglers' Club by June 20 for the upcoming school / tournament year. Registration meeting will be held in April/May to register to the next season.

Aledo Page Turners
- Purpose: We are the official book club of the Aledo High School Library. We come together to enjoy reading for pleasure and we read a wide variety of genres throughout the year. Some students read with us every month. Other students choose the months they are least busy to read with us.

Bearcat Besties/TAFE
- Purpose: Our vision is to help elementary students develop healthy, strong relationships that allow them to reach their full potential. Bearcat Besties offers a mentorship program between high school and elementary students. This evokes relationships while allowing high school students to model positive interactions for the younger students.

Business Professionals of America [BPA]
- Purpose: Welcome to the official page of Aledo High School’s BPA! Our mission is to empower students to develop leadership skills essential for success in the business world. We have competitive events for everyone!
