Play it Safe
Play It Safe! is a prevention education program designed to reduce children's risk for becoming victims of physcial and sexual abuse. This program was created by the Women's Center of Tarrant County and helps children "recognize, respond to, and report" a potentially abusive situation. They now have a parent program that can be used at home as well.

Ms. Lindsey Coomer
As a born and raised Bearcat, I am excited to serve in the role of school counselor in our community! This will be my 12th year at ALC.
It is my personal school counseling mission to advocate for my students in an all means all culture.
This is made possible through utilizing the four components of the comprehensive Guidance and Counseling program in Aledo ISD. The four areas and their responsibilities are Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.
