Congratulations Fall 2025-2026 Circle of Greatness Special Honorees!
Please help us congratulate our Fall 2025 Circle of Greatness Special Honorees!
These employees were chosen from among the more than 100 nominees for Circle of Greatness since the start of school to represent the best of the best of our auxiliary, paraprofessional, professional and substitute categories! They will now be in the running for the overall districtwide Circle of Greatness awards later this year!
Read below what some of their nominees said about how they are #growinggreatness in our district!

In Aledo ISD, parents, students, community members, fellow staff members - ANYONE - can nominate ANY staff member to be recognized in this way! Take the time today to nominate someone who you've seen going above and beyond and being All in Aledo for Circle of Greatness!

Professional - Tyler Bauer, McAnally Middle School
Tyler Bauer has so much love and respect from her students. I serve in class support for a student in her class. I am always so impressed at the organization and level of student engagement. She goes above and beyond by helping lead our behavioral and Bearcat LEAD sessions. She has made the organization seamless for our campus while explaining what we need to do with our forms and setting this up for us.
Tyler has been amazing to work with and truly shows what Growing Greatness looks like. She’s the one who did all the work this summer with me on our LEAD plan and the student behavior dashboard. She put in so much time and effort making sure it was something that would actually help teachers and make sense for our campus. She’s organized, driven, and always willing to jump in and make things better.

Paraprofessional - Deb Winkler, McCall Elementary
Deb Winkler comes into my classroom every single day and sometimes multiple times a day bringing life and a breath of fresh air to me and my students. She is not just there to serve the students on her caseload, but she also adds value to my lessons and jumps right in. I cannot imagine these first few weeks without Winkler in my classroom and I really cannot imagine my students' days without her checking in on them and earning their love and trust. It is evident in everything Winkler does that she loves her job. Mccall is so very lucky to have her and I definitely couldn’t do my job without her.
Deb works tirelessly for our students with special needs and never complains about what they are tasked with. She loves our small Bearcats and are a blessing to have in the classroom. With Deb in our classrooms as support, she truly allows Ms. Barbee and I to do our job to the fullest and provide a high level of learning to all of our students.

Auxiliary - Richard Dennis, Maintenance Department
Richard Dennis stepped in to help with facilities while his colleague was out on leave. He has been so pleasant to work with. Nothing is too much trouble. He kept in constant contact to make sure I had everything I needed for the New Hire Tailgate this year. I appreciate him so much.
Richard is easy to work with, a great communicator, very professional and always goes above and beyond.Sometimes we have last minute changes and he is always positive and happy to assist. If there are any issues he will always let me know ahead of time, and if there are any issues on my end with the setup he accepts my panic calls immediately and takes care of any issues right away!

Substitute - Jason Sebastian, Lynn McKinney Elementary
Jason Sebastian has been a consistent source of hard work, positivity, and a member of our campus who truly looks everyday for how he can better support our students. His reflective response when kiddos struggle, adjustments to his own practices, and ability to take initiative when he sees a need has been invaluable. We are so lucky to have him.
